Hoang Pho Restaurant in Houston

We eat here 2-3 times a week. The staff is amazing and so friendly. The food is very good. It is always best on a Sunday or Wednesday (not sure why but we have noticed that trend). I absolutely love that they have vegetarian options.

Edward and Anna are really nice and friendly. Pho taste great. I recommend Lemongrass Chicken n Nha Trang Springroll with Peanut Sauce. 😍😍😍

I have tried Pho at many different places and the broth was never really good enough to make me want to return for more, but I finally think I found a place that I am willing to keep coming back for ! Steak & Brisket Pho was amazing and packed with flavor!

Loved this place for over a decade now. Rock n roll beef all day long. Good pho and banh mi too. They have the typical fare, vegetarian options, and nice lunch specials. You can get out of here without spending over $10, dinner is closer to $15.

I like the spring rolls here! The pho isn't bad either. They have a good amount of authentic menu items and Americanized items so it's a good place to go if you have a group of people who want authentic food and people who want Panda Express-type of Americanized food. (Not that Panda Express is bad but it's not where you go for authentic food obviously.) My point is: everyone will find something great to eat here.

I love this place! There was a slight issue with my order but the staff stepped in right away and resolved everything! The food is absolutely delicious and they have awesome customer service!!! 10/10 am going to recommend to my friends and family!

Great little place, they have some amazing soups, the tofu and meat is to die for (I always get the H10 tofu cast iron soup with pork. Just love it. Also the owners Edward and Hannah are super friendly.

Absolutely Amazing menu over all! Veggie Egg rolls are fantastic every time (personally not a vegetarian but great flavor), Spicy Plum Chicken is really tasty, and for desert, Fried Banana’s served with ice cream. This is a lot of food for two but we make it fit! Service and the ambiance is great! I’ve been spending money here for years.

Try this place out! I've been to this place a few times and it is always the same: Great food, good prices, awesome service! Pho broth is yummy and good portions. A few recommendations:Appetizers - *shrimp toast *Vietnamese crepe (this crepe is huge! pork, shrimp, onions, bean sprouts, egg)Entrees - *Rock-n-Roll Tofu (the best I've ever had!)Specialties - *H3 Basa in Claypot (my bf loved this)Pho - D1 is legit!

I ordered the plum chicken with fried rice. The chicken had good flavor. The fried rice was yuck. It didn't seem fresh and I was tasting old raw garlic in the fried rice. The service was okay.

Local favorite for soup, poboy, or traditional pho dishes. Quiet atmosphere.

Under new management and ownership! Best Vietnamese food in Clear Lake! The quality of the ingredients sets Pho Hoang apart from other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. WAY better cuts of meat! My go-to favorite is grilled chicken with vermicelli. Love the spring rolls and egg rolls. Lots of tasty vegetarian options! I also recommend the Rock 'n Roll beef, Rock 'n Roll tofu, Lemongrass chicken and Lemongrass tofu. Excellent service! Very clean. Nice Asian ambiance. One of our favorites on our restaurant rotation!

Good food. They used to have the most amazing peanut sauce but they changed the recipe. It is still ok just not what it used to be. Prices have also gone up but still reasonable.

The food is delicious. From the appetizers to there entrees. Get the spicy pork soup with the thin noodles it's super good.

Food is great, staff is friendly. A lot of returning customers as well. A lot of the negative reviews are from people who do not really know much about asian food or were served on bad days or very busy ones. Restaurant is perfect for people who want to experience truly authentic vietnamese food and appreciate Vietnamese culture.

It was okay. If I could give it 3.5 I would. My pho was a bit salty and the eggrolls we're overcooked, but the service was amazing.

This is one of my two favorite restaurants in all of Houston. I got them to make an excellent vegetarian so soup for me, with added steamed tofu, garlic, and egg noodles. It’s like eating a health infusion every time I went. Unfortunately I moved to Austin, but I always stop back when I’m in town.💚

Went there for the first time, and I probably won't be back. The temperature fluctuated so much, the table was dirty, and the food was okay at best.

I had the spicy plum chicken vermicelli today, while my friend had the rice hot pot. Both were very good and filling enough that we have enough for another meal tomorrow. Staff is always friendly and willing to answer questions about the food if you are unfamiliar with it.

I when to this phone Hoang to eat aweek ago and ,today I stop again to oder a cup of noodles soup and spring roll and they wanted to charge me extra$2.00 for the veggies supposed to come with the soup .bad service and greedy...

Best Vietnamese coffee in town!

After eating my rock and roll chicken which tasted good, I took a bite of a spring roll. After the first bite, I wasn't too impressed. Then, I saw green tinged meat fall out of the spring roll that I'd just been eating. The meat was actually green--disgusting. I was very grossed out and didn't eat any more. I don't like to complain so I didn't. However, I've literally been sick for three days now--which makes me extremely upset. Therefore, i had to write his review. NEVER again!

Its always clean and the food is very flavorful..we love their Pho and Spring rolls

Friday (aug 23) my gf and i ordered crispy chicken and the shrimp with vermicelli noodles. it was a little odd because they sent an additional order of some odd chicken dish. at first we shrugged it off as a pleasant surprise. our food was okay, nothing impressive. i decided to save the mystery chicken addition for dinner today (sunday) i reheated it in my microwave and found the chicken had this weird...crunch to it. there was plastic wrap UNDER the breading of the chicken. it was deep fried plastic in the chicken. Absolutely unacceptable. How do you deep fry a piece of chicken and not notice a sheet of plastic wrap on it?!We will never go to or order from this place ever again. Be warned for your orders!

It's a great place to bring the entire family or eat solo. Their dishes are so different compared with other places and that's what makes the place be authentic. Great flavor, juicy, and great choices on meats for dish preparation.

Delicious food! Very fast and courteous service. Can't wait to enjoy their food again. The ice tea to go was a nice touch also.
